Of course the famous Bayeux Tapestry is one of our most famous attractions, but there are many things in this area to see and do.
The memorial for peace in Caen is both a moving and interesting visit, as are the museums along the coast of the landing beaches, such as Arromanches. The American War Cemetary is at Omaha beach and the Commonwealth War Cemetary at Bayeux.
Deauville is a cosmopolitan town , with wonderful designer shopping, Casinos and Thallassotherapy treatment centre. The beach here is beautiful, certainly rivalling the Cote d'Azur!
Visit William the Conqueror's Castle at Falaise, and marvel at the beautiful produce at the many local markets.
Of course it is impossible to list all the interesting places to visit whilst you are here, but these are just a few of our favourites!
